What Customers Say About Lost Planet: Extreme Condition:

If you are short on cash ,this is the game that you need to purchase. The game is good and highly satisfying after beating.Wish there were trophies. And the most unbelievable thing ,is there are still a lot of people playing this online despite it being out for more than 15 months. My only negative point is ,the controls are not fluid and will take time to get used to.

Each mission took me on average of 45 min each with the exception of the first 2 missions witch took me 30min to finish. Allow me to start out by saying, Why did a lot of people/review sites give this game such a low ratings. With that said, Lost Planet (LP) is a great game, while it doesn't do anything groundbreaking,it offers a lot of fun. The graphics are nothing to write home about but they are nice and do the job well, The story is a little bare bones but does have a surprising plot twist.Length wise the game has 11 missions with cut-scenes in between each one. LP can be beat in a weekend if you put your mind to it,but for me it took about 5 days to complete,I'd do 2 missions a night witch was more than enough for a person who is not used to TPS (3rd person shooters) I'm a RPG nut at my core.Overall for the price you cant go wrong,It would cost you about $6 to rent, put in another $10 and own it. Perfect to waste a weekend on,or good for 5 days playing 2 missions a day :D.

I bought this for my husband because it was at a price I couldn't resist and seemed like one he would enjoy, and did. His only complaint was that he beat it too quick.

This only serves to make the game annoying. This game is truely atrocious. Pretty much any attack landed on your character will knock you down such that you cannot do anything until you get back up. This isn't "challenging" at all. The knock downs are just way too annoying and dont serve any type of strategic purpose. Worse yet, this means that if you are getting barraged by a constant stream of attacks (such as a boss battle) you will be continuously knocked down an unable to do anything.

By boss fight 3 and 4 I was getting really frustrated. There are many good things about this game (such as getting to control mechs and even wield mech weapons when on foot) but the bad parts really are really bad.The #1 complaint I have about this game is simply the constant "knock-downs". It started off annoying in the first mission but I figured I would just deal with it. This happened to me on several occasions. Literally I would be in the middle of a fight getting knocked down 3 times in a row so that I couldn't even fire my weapon and then just end up dead. By boss #5, I simply cannot keep on going.

They only to falsely make the game more "difficult".[.].This game goes up for sale right now.

it's a decent game not much to it but fun to play. Not medal gear or call of duty material.
